The Institute for Educational Management and Educational Economics IBB is a university institute of the University of Education Zug that deals with research and knowledge transfer. The IBB has a research and development mandate, but also sees itself as a service facility for teachers, school management, school administrators, cantons, ministries and institutions that deal with the quality and development of educational facilities. In the spirit of “Responsible Science” (in our work in practice, with practice and for practice), we work on thematically broad projects that are highly relevant to science, educational practice and educational policy. In addition to exploratory projects, the IBB mainly works on multi-year longitudinal projects, which also include national, international and interdisciplinary studies. The IBB works multi-level analytically, multi-perspective and multi-method (quantitative, qualitative and mix-method) and also develops its own instruments.

Projects at the IBB can usually be assigned to one of three subject areas:

  1. Teacher training, leadership development and human resources management in the education sector
  2. Organisation, quality and development in education
  3. Youth Research (Education and Perspectives)

As part of our projects, the following job offers and offers for qualification work are currently available and by arrangement, whereby the place of work (on site in Switzerland, in the home office, with a connection to a German university with which the IBB cooperates, for example the University of Erfurt) and the working hours are flexible:
